1 Corinthians 13:1-13
I once read an editorial that stated that there are 34,000 different identifiable groups calling themselves Christians. I don’t know how he came up with that number but I do know that we Christians all have beliefs, practices and traditions that divide us even within denominational groups. This isn’t a new problem as this divisiveness was evident in the church almost from the beginning. In Paul’s letter to the church that was in Corinth, he points out this problem of divisiveness and gives them the solution to this disunity by reminding them of the basis for their unity.
