2 Timothy 4:1-8

Death is an inevitability.  No one gets out of this alive,.  Some will see it coming and some won’t, but it will happen.  This isn’t something that we like to think about or talk about.  We would rather not deal with it right now, there will always be time, we think, but the truth is none of us know the date or the time.  The apostle Paul is sitting in a Roman prison with the knowledge that he will soon die.  In his second letter to Timothy, he reflects on his journey with Christ but also looks forward to what would happen after he is gone.
